As a grade 8 student, I find it beneficial to have social media accounts despite the fact that they may also have disadvantages. In my perspective, social media can benefit me more than it can harm me. It helps me communicate with my family and friends. It can be a source of information. Social media can make us more aware of our surroundings. In my opinion, I think that social media may cause people to be socially insensitive towards others. Just because we are separated through screens does not mean that we should be socially insensitive or act differently towards others. Social media has affected me as a daughter because I am able to communicate with my parents whenever they’re away. It has affected me as a friend by communicating with them when they’re not around and to keep in touch with them. It has affected me as a student because some social medias have information we can get. All in all, I think that social media has made a big impact on our lives. I agree with you that social media has a big impact on our lives because even to me it has had a huge impact from good to bad.

Social Media affects my life by helping me with my studies like when I need to make a research. I can easily search for informations needed. When I'm absent I can ask my fellow classmates about what I need to do. It benefits me because when I use my social media I use it properly and I follow the rules and regulations so that I don't get to harm myself and other people. Social media teaches me to be responsible of my actions to others and to myself. It affects me as a daughter because sometimes I don't get to spend time with my family because I'm busy using my social media account. It affects me as a friend because I can communicate with my friends through social media and last It affects me as a student because I can study through the internet and I can ask my classmates about my projects, homeworks or test review.
Social media became a big part in our lives since it has started. Our view as a students changes as we read posts and blogs from writers. With social media , each one of us needs to be responsible, and be sensitive as well .

Social media can affect my life in many different ways, like it can help me socialize with my friends more and I get to talk to my relatives far away from where I live. For me, my social media accounts can benefit me more than it can harm me, because as I said it can help me talk to my relatives which are far away from me and it can help me have more confidence when talking to a person because it helps me enhance my conversation skills. Although, my social media accounts can also harm me in a way that other people can steal my personal information and they can impersonate me online. Social Media teaches me to be more responsible. It teaches me to be responsible by making me know that I am the one liable for what I post or do online. The social media affects me badly as a daughter because I usually just sit on the couch and not talk to my family anymore, which I know is a bad thing to do especially that they are the ones who are giving me a great life. It affects me better as a friend because I can talk to them and know the latest news on what has been happening in school and I can know them better while we are far from each other. As a student it affects me in a good and bad way because sometimes I abuse the time I have and sometimes I use it to know the home works, the things we have to bring or even the tests we will have so I know what I will have to study. I can agree with you that my (our) social media presence made my connection with my parents, and siblings, not as good as I would say due to the often use of the internet.

Social Media is a form of electronic communication which users like us create online communities to share information, thoughts, personal messages, and other contents such as photos and videos. A social media account affects a human being both positively and negatively, simply posting one’s opinion can change his or hers outlook to other people. In my existence social media accounts changes everything; it allows you to be in touch with your friends, family and distant relatives, it also tolerates you to speak up or express your opinions to the society. I consider this as beneficial to me and to others because not only does it assist you to be in converse with the one’s you love but it also updates you on the occurrence around the world.
I believe that social media has the ability to harm or spoil you is undeniably FALSE for the reason that it is in the person’s choices and decisions if he or she will utilize this tool to abuse or use social media in a appropriate and suitable way which leads us to the responsibilities in social media. I suppose that social media teaches us to be aware on what we post or place and perform in the internet. As a daughter, a friend and a student this can affect me in both good and bad. It affects badly on my family because ever since technology came to our lives dinner and family bonding always consist of gadgets on the table. However when it comes to friends it is very useful since it permits us to have a strong bond with other people. On the other hand, being a student active in the internet is both positive and negative. It is positive since internet has all the tools and information that we need for our projects and school activities but it is also negative due to the bad choices of a student by means of the internet’s abilities (games, social messages and inappropriate sites). As a result of having technology on our hands and the ability to do what is dreadful in the online community that there will be most likely cases on why students and teenagers have the capability to take over the internet.

As a grade 8 student, having social media accounts benefit me by updating me about the latest news in and outside the country. I am also updated with what my relatives from other countries are doing. Social media teaches me social responsibility because on the internet, there are certain sites, videos and pictures that we are not allowed to view. I, myself do not view them because I know what is right from wrong. My social media presence affects me as a daughter, a friend and a student in a positive way. As daughter, I get to communicate with my parents when they aren't around via face time, video call or chat. As a friend, I can communicate with long distance friends and even make some internet friends. And as a student, I can chat with some classmates and inform them about home works, or vice versa. We should always remember that using the internet wisely will benefit you and we should always stay safe. I strongly agree that the internet will be beneficial for/to you, only if you you use it wisely, because if we abuse the main purpose and function of the internet, we might not be able to serve as role models to the other and younger users of the internet.

As the Internet, the World Wide Web, social networking and the like have only come to be a contributor to us a few decades ago, our world has changed very greatly, both positively and negatively. In my life, social media has affected me more in a beneficial way. I've been able to apply a lot of the things I've learned through experiences to my social and communication skills. This includes getting to know people's attitudes towards others and personalities by how frequent they are online, topics they start or mainly how they respond. Furthermore, they each have contributed pros and cons in the most important aspects of who I am right now: a daughter, a friend and a student. As a daughter, social media has helped me keep in touch with my parents more effectively and less costly, especially with Instant Messaging and Video-calling, if they are not around. As a friend, social media has helped me bridge gaps in a way between far away friends and relatives; moreover, social media makes it less awkward and more sufficient to make new friends. Being active has helped me talk to my friends especially when I need moral support and good vibes, when I am to be informed on last minute changes in plans and when someone needs to talk to me ASAP about the latest gossip. Lastly, as a student, social media has made it easier and practical if ever there are needed clarifications for assignments and lessons, communicating with group members to collaborate on different tasks and to get different opinions on certain topics to widen our understanding on it. With this, I'd like to conclude that, as though we know how to use social networking responsibly, we are blessed to witness the presence of social media sites in our lives. Social media has evolved little by little as brilliant minds pursue the solutions to limits in communication, and information. Many kids, especially adolescents, today acquiring social media accounts have affected this generation in becoming so different than what our parents were when they were our age. Google, Facebook and YouTube are just some of the many popular social apps we use today. Technology will improve more and more as the years pass by; this is obviously not the end of possibility for more evolution in social media. I strongly agree that the internet allows us to keep in touch with our family and friends but we need to have a specific time and duration in doing this since being students has a high responsibility to do there homeworks.

Social media has affected my life in a way that it has helped me in my academic performance and my attitude, how I act/deal towards everyone and everything. I can say that the social media is beneficial because, as I've said, it has helped me in my school work, it makes me become more aware of the things happening around me, and it guides me how I deal with everything in my life, basically. It also helps me stay and keep connected with my friends, families and loved ones. The social media has taught me social responsibility because it helps me become aware of how I react and how will I react upon everything I encounter online, because something so small can sometimes make a big impact to someone, whether it be negative or positive. It also taught me social responsibility in a way that I always remember the quote "Think before you click" because once you've done or posted something (good or bad), it cannot be easily undone and unseen; but now, those can easily be prevented and avoided because I now know which is right from wrong, or what I should do and what I shouldn't do. As a daughter, my presence in social media made me become less connected to them (my parents and siblings) because I always have my phone right beside me and they also use their phone most of the time, but as much as possible, we try to become more connected; In our family, my social media presence is a must even though we get to see each other most of the time, even though we have such busy and hectic schedules; plus, I also get to keep up with my relatives abroad through Skype or Viber. As a friend, I am able to become updated on what my friends are doing and what they're up to, and I am somehow able to make friends with people less harder and less awkward. As a student, I'm able to do and excel more because of the numerous resources, websites and information I can use to help me study and to help me in my projects; Also, it has helped me to keep up with what I should do in specific subjects when I'm absent or when I'm having difficulty because then I could easily ask help from some of my classmates. I agree that social media makes one aware of the things around her/him. I also agree that nowadays, we tend to become less connected to our family when we have social media.

I think we all know that the internet can easily get all the information that we need but let us not always depend on Google and other sites that can get all our homework done in less than a minute. I suggest getting information on textbooks that are provided by the school. It is there for a reason.

I believe that having social media accounts did affect my life, it made me gain new knowledge and informed me of the latest news whenever the news on TV wasn't available. Social media doesn't benefit nor harm us. To some, it may be beneficial and to others, it may be not. But in my case, it is beneficial because with the advanced technology that we have here today, social media has helped me with homework, research, and numerous essays. It has also helped me communicate with friends instantly, which was very helpful when it came to group projects and collaborations. Social media has taught me responsibility thru lots of creative posters, articles, charts, pictures and many more. We have to constantly remind ourselves to be careful with what we post because posting something that is inappropriate will lead to sanctions and lots of punishments. Just one wrong post can ruin your reputation, destroy your relationship with friends, family, and loved ones. So we always have to stay safe on the internet to prevent hurting others feelings and making a jerk out of yourself, because cyber bullying isn't a joke; thousands of teens and adults come across cyber bullying everyday and it just makes me wonder why most people these days could be so cruel behind a screen. I agree that we may gain more knowledge through social media but we should also know that sometimes, information said on social media may be false. Social media may be unreliable sometimes. I also agree that something said on social media may ruin one's reputation. Thus, we should be careful of what we say on social media.

Social Media Accounts affect my life because with social media, we can pass our projects easily, we can talk with friends or your distant relatives and knowing many updated information around us. Social Media has both advantages and disadvantages. It benefits us because it makes our life more easier to do things and keep us in-touched with our friends. Disadvantages because we can receive death threats,spam,cyber-bullying and we can be easily distracted. It makes me responsible because I always think first before I post or do something online. There are many bad things and inappropriate posts posted online so we should refrain ourselves opening these sites or reading it.
Social Media affects me as a daughter because I rarely spend my time with my family and Im always in the computer. It affects me as a friend by helping my friends if they have a problem or they just want to chat.Lastly,as a student, I can research projects or reviews since there are many websites that can help us,also I can give assignments to those who are are absent and vice versa. Always remember to use social media properly and everyone will see whatever you posted so be careful and not careless.Like what they say, "Think before You Click".

As a Grade 8 student, social media did affect my life. It helped me in my homeworks, research, essays, and projects. It also makes me updated in the news around the world and it also made me socialize with my relatives abroad. But it can also have disadvantages, people may impersonate you by making a false account, cyber bully you, or even threaten you. It also see that some students don't copy homeworks in school, so they ask it through social media. Social media made me responsible because it helped me in time management and balancing my time in doing assignment and using the internet. It also made me responsible because it makes me careful on what I say or post in the internet. As a daughter it affects me because sometimes I prioritize updating myself in news or celebrities' posts rather than having quality time with family. As a friend, I can help my friends with their problems and concerns through social media networks. As a student, it affects me because I can help my classmates' concerns regarding the assignments. I believe there are a lot of advantages and disadvantages in using the internet but we can avoid this ( disadvantages ) by being a responsible ICT user. Always remember, Be Safe! I agree in balancing our time in doing our homework and using the internet.

Some people see social media as an unsafe platform for socializing and communicating. However, for me I think social media is facilitative and substantial. It is most helpful interms of getting in touch with other people. It makes communication faster and easier. It keeps me updated and helps me know more about the things and events around the world. In addition, social media benefits me,since I use some of my time on the internet. It lets me know more about the information or news in my country and worldwide.
Social media provides entertainment ex. Youtube and Facebook. It helps in faster information gathering like the use of Google, GMA7news and Daily Inquirer. I believe that social media teaches me social responsibility because it opens my eyes to everything that is happening around me. I don't think that social media makes one become insensitive to others. As a friend social media keeps me in touch with my other friends. On the other hand it helps me as a student by helping me reaserch and contribute to group works, projects and other assesments. With social media people would have an easier time with their work. Although it all depends on how you use the internet. It could be harmful if you don't use it properly, so stay safe and have fun!!!

social media affects my life because they are helpful in different ways like talking with distant friends, relatives, or families. it is helpful with school when one is absent, and directly having an interesting conversation with the person you know, but the problem is that one cannot tell if that the person chatting with them is really them. social media sites may harm me but simultaneously help me. it is beneficial because it is an easy way to help someone if needed the information, it can also harm one by virus, or hurt someone mentally.
social media is honestly a distraction because one cannot do what they need to do when they use Facebook, twitter, Skype, etc. it can lessen your bond with reality. social media affects me as a daughter and a student by giving me the information i need, but can also show me the things that are not appropriate for my age.

As a grade 8 student social media can be beneficial because i can connect to relatives who are in other countries and also through social media we can share our memories to each other. Social media can harm simply because other people may access our accounts or even have access to your private information. As a social media user we can be responsible in different ways. When we use our accounts we tend to be cautious and careful of people who follows us.
As a daughter i can tell that i lessen my bond with my family because i tend to focus more on the computer or on my phone. My observations are similar with mine they also focus on things that are not that important and sometimes forget they're priorities. As a student and a daughter i will lessen my usage of social media so that i can focus on my priorities.
